I’m Miles Wallace, a full-stack developer based in California with a passion for building robust web applications and exploring the endless possibilities of modern technology. Whether it’s crafting elegant frontend interfaces or architecting powerful backend systems, I’m always driven by the philosophy: always be coding and creating.
My Technical Journey#
My development journey centers around creating practical, efficient web solutions using a diverse technology stack. I specialize in Python and Django, which I’ve used to build database-driven applications with PostgreSQL as my go-to relational database. My experience spans both frontend and backend development, allowing me to tackle full-stack challenges with confidence.
On the frontend, I work with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces. I’ve leveraged frameworks like Bootstrap to accelerate development while maintaining design consistency. This website itself is built with Hugo, a powerful static site generator that demonstrates my interest in modern web technologies and performant web architectures.
Development Experience#
In the past, I’ve built complex web applications using Django 4.0 with PostgreSQL backends, focusing on scalable database design and efficient query optimization. These projects taught me the importance of proper database architecture and the power of PostgreSQL’s advanced features—from JSONB support to full-text search capabilities.
Beyond traditional web development, I’ve also contributed to gaming communities by assisting with a Grand Theft Auto 5 modification and server infrastructure. This experience gave me valuable insight into real-time systems, multiplayer architecture and community-driven development.

On the hardware side, I’m a computer and network enthusiast who enjoys understanding how systems work at every level, from the silicon to the software. This holistic perspective helps me write more efficient code and make better architectural decisions.
I believe in continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies. The tech landscape evolves rapidly and I find excitement in exploring new frameworks, databases and development methodologies that can solve problems more effectively.
